Blog #669, Day 681.

Monday July 16th, 2018 at 8:04 PM.

I am back home from camping.

It was a good week. There was perfect weather and it was cool at night so I was able to sleep.

I only woke up before 10 AM once.

I went on one hike. It was straight uphill. I thought I was going to die.

We had a campfire every night. I had some s’mores.

I don’t think I ever went to bed before midnight.

I did not have any internet or cell service the whole week. That was a little strange.

We went out on the boat.

I took a few showers in the community showers, which was fabulous.

I probably walked to the bathroom 50 times.

Our campsite was close to the bathroom, like almost across the street, but on the walk back it was all uphill.

I met some new dogs.

I met some new people.

I only got in one argument with someone. I had never met him before, it was y mom’s boyfriend’s niece’s new boyfriend. He thought it was okay to leave behind half of the people he gave a ride to. I didn’t think it was okay. Me and two other people had to walk back to our cabins, and it wasn’t the closest walk. He only stayed for a few days. I only saw him for one of the days.

My mom’s boyfriend’s niece brought her friend and she was very nice.

I think there were 6 cabins on the trail that were all people we knew.

We had a big fire on the last in an attempt to burn all of the firewood that was left. It rained, but at like 1 AM.

It was a really good week.

I had a lot of fun.

I am not watching The Bachelorette tonight. I just couldn’t put myself through it.

I am now waiting for my mom to get home and I am hoping that she will bring home soup. Even though, it was 90 degrees today.

It is now 8:15 PM.

Goodnight,

Emily
